Brittany Allen is a multi-disciplinary artist. An Emmy-winning actor (All My Children) known for her raw and memorable roles in projects like The Boys (Amazon) where Allen played the troubled superhero Popclaw; Jigsaw (Lionsgate); The Prodigy (MGM); SXSW breakout What Keeps You Alive; and the upcoming Dexter: Original Sin (Showtime/Paramount Plus) in which Allen has been cast in the pivotal role of Laura Moser … Allen has also built a dual career and passion in composing. Recent credits include Scrambled (Lionsgate); American Horror Stories (FX); Torn Hearts (Blumhouse); two seasons of Two Sentence Horror Stories (CW/Netflix); as well as the above mentioned NYTimes Critics’ pick What Keeps You Alive, which Allen also starred in and produced. Most recently, Allen scored the Tribeca Film Festival podcast The Strange Case, starring David Oyelowo and Vanessa Kirby, from the creator of John Wick.
Allen crafts moving, dark, melodic themes and fresh, edgy sounds, leaning deeply into the character's emotional journey, pulling from her large body of work as an actor.
Allen has also released two self produced EPs, Khamai Lion and Dying In LA. As a songwriter, her proclivity to dark material meets her pop sensibility.
